By revisiting the childhood memory of bedroom night lamps, I remembered the projections of monsters of anguish ; meeting points of mental shadows.

Communitism presented this memory in the installation CLOSE THE DOOR ; a room where floating painted silhouettes dialogue with unsettling and mesmerizing creatures. I created this composition based on the uncanny idea of illusion of presence and the way we defend ourselves against it.
